I {heart} Oscar

Får jeg presentere gode gamle Oscar!! Min far fyller 82 om noen dager og som mange andere har også jeg til tider problemer med å lage det perfekte herrekortet men med Oscar fra Mo´s Digital Pencil var det problemet løst. Man må jo bare elske denne sympatiske karen!
Takk for besøket!

Denne gangen Little Winged Friends "Under the Stars".

My oh my, time really flies!

And all of a sudden it´s autumn! I really don´t think I´m the born stamper / scrapper in the summer. Haven´t really touched any of my stuff from my last posting til last weekend. But now it´s getting darker and darker and colder and colder in Norway so no reason to leave the house unless you really have to :) I got so inspired by the work of the so very talented Inge presents all of the time that I had to grab some stamps and had to get starting. The result after last sunday are the following two cards. Both made with the Pure Innocent images from My Favorite Things. For the coloring: Promarkers and some Distress to soften some edges. This was the very first time I tried to paperpierce and it really is fun to do. The result is so different from the traditional coloring! Paperpad is coming from My Minds Eye and different dies are used from Nestabillities, My Favorite Things and ordinary die-cutters. The sentiments followed the Pure Innocent girl together with the kite (both stamp and die cut). Now I really hope I´m back on track because I have some serious X-mas-card-making to do in the very near future :) In the meantime I´m waitng full of excitement for the postman ´cause I did some serious shopping at My Favorite Things last week...

Scrapbooking!!!

It´s far too long ago since I scrapped a page and there are SO many pictures!! The page I scrapped earlier this week and I show you here are pictures from two-thousand-and-four!!! Just so you get an idea of the amount pictures I´m talking about. Since early 2004 I haven´t been scrapping anything on descent paper. I did do some digital scrapping though but it doesn´t give me the same satisfaction. It is really nice to go through the pictures and humble back in time like withe these pictures. Our first biking vacation. Our youngest had decided to cycle the route on his own with all his packaging on his bike. He was only 9 years old and would not accept any help. I tell you, he made it and we were so proud of him!!

Materials I used: Bazzill, Tag from Kaiser Craft, DCWC Pets Blue Dots, Heidi Swap Photocorner (recolored), the Vaillant tag was on a pair of jeans when I bought it, Distress Ink to give the page a shabby look.

Thank you so much for your visit!!

Happy

This is the second card I made using a digi stamp from Mo´s. I love them! Easy to use, easy to store. Don´t you just adore this lovely lady that looks so satisfied? I saw this stamp on a card made by Filharmonica and was so inspired by it that I had to make one of my own. In a way it became a lift. Really can recommend everybody to take a look at her blog. Though I started coloring with the new markers from Tim Holtz, I had to reach out for my Promarkers (teagreen, greygreen, Sunkissed Pink, Satin, Blush, Henna, Blue grey 1,2 and 3, Midnight Blue). I didn´t feel comfy at all with the Distress markers. Supplies I used: The first layer is a bandage colored with Distress, Papers from My Minds Eye - Honey Cake and Bazill; Stamp from Mo´s Digital Pencil; Lace border on the inside from Tim Holtz; Little heart border is from Panduro; Circle with text is made with a Nestabillity. I used the font Copperplate and Exmouth. On the inside I pimped the text field with some ribbon and embossed one corner.

Thank you for dropping by and if you leave a little trace, you will make my day!

All of a sudden we are writing April...

Oh my... time really does fly.
During the Easter week - which in Norway lasts from Monday before Easter til the 2nd day of Easter (yes we are talking a whole week!!) - I managed to make two cards and to be honest I like both of them although I see there are some points that can be improved.
The first one is a Happy Birthday card made with a High Hopes stamp. Gorgeous little monkey don´t you think? Colored with Pro- and Flexmarkers. I really was inspired by the challenge of My Favorite Things but then, as usual, I had to go my own way :)
The lace is a die from Tim Holtz, the circle from Nestabillities.

The papers are from the collection bundle "Loyal" by Authentique. The flags are paper pierced. That counts for the cupcake as well.

Now, here comes my second card. Nice and smooth and....PINK!! I love the combo pink, green and choco brown. Hmmm.... I saw this stamp on a card made by Nicole and just knew I had to get my own. The chocolate eating little girl is a digi-stamp made by Mo´s Digital Pencil. Along with this sweetie I had some other stamps in my basket but more about these later. For now it´s all about chocolate :)

On this cards I used some Die-namics from My Favorite Things: The Chat Bubble and the Upsie Daysies. Papers are coming from Magnolia and the coloring is done with Pro- and Flexmarkers. The circle "Sending you Happiness" is made be me but with the inspiration from Nicole.

Adorable giraffes

Aren´t they sweet????
The stamp is from Whimsy Stamps and a really "must have". Colored with Promarkers (spice, honeycumb, sunflower, gold, cocoa and cinnamon.
Papers I´ve been using are from my local craft store Panduro and are called Beige Square / Beige Circle. The ornament stamp is as well from Panduro.
The flower is a real Upsie Daisy from My Favorite Things and the word "together" comes straight from my Slice. Isn´t that cute?
Thank you so much for dropping by!!

Friends forever...

My card for this weekend is made with a digital stamp image from the Whimsy Stamps.
It was my first visit in this shop and I most certainly will return. Ordered a rubber stamp as well so I´m looking forward to empty my mailbox the next couple of days.
Papers I used are coming from Basic Grey ( Bon bon and Pattern Paper).

Since the stamped image is covering most of the front side, I have been careful not to use too many embellishments as well. I this case I think less is more.
The inside of the card is decorated as well. I used a goldfish stamp from High Hopes and made a nice tag to write your message.Images are colored with Promarkers.
The tag on the front is made with Nestabillities and the font I used is called "Girls are weird".
Thanks for dropping by :)

Easter soon

Soon it will be Easter so I just as well started with some cards. Ordered some real fine new stamps from High Hopes but don´t think they will make it to this side of the pond in time to use on some Easter cards this year.
The stamp on this card is from a local craft store Panduro.
Papers Bazill, Green at Heart (Basic Grey). Cutting dies (flower) from Die-namics (My favorite things).
The corner: Heidi Swapp, Prima Flowers. Colored with Promarkers / Flexmarkers.
The inside of the card is decorated very modest with a nice area to write your greeting on

More Hänglar och Stänglar

Papers used : Prick blå and Drömmar, both from Inkido.
The tag is made with Nestabillity.
Inside the card there is a cute pocket witch contain a big size tag to write some words on.The images are colored with Promarkers / Flexmarkers.

My first card, after a loooong time.

Lots has happened the last year. After her battle against the cancer I lost my Mom in April. Fortunately I was able to take a 6 week leave from my job to be with her and my father the last weeks of her life but it was a hard process we went through.
Then, July 22nd there was the bombing and shooting in our city and at Utøya.
All together reason enough to take some time off to think things through.
My scrap and stamp stuff disappeared to the attic.
Until last week :)
So, here we are. Again.
My first card is composed and made out of "left-overs". The only thing I´m sure of is my stamp. Of course an hÄnglar & stÄnglar. Does anybody by the way know what happened to them? I tried to enter their web shop but did not find it....
The inside of the card is decorated with Die-namics "Upsey Daisies" from My Favorite Things. I saw this funny dies on the blog of Inge Patterned Paper

Thank you for dropping by!

Christmas card factory :)

Oh my, I think I´ll really get a hard time sending these adorable girls away.... I´m really like them the way they look at me from my desk when I´m trying to get them a real nice background card.....
I realize the coloring isn´t quite perfect but I kind of like the shabby impression it makes-
The candy cane on card nr 1 is an image I found on the internet. Print it, color it and cut it and...voilá.... with some nice lace you can make this cute embellishment

On all of these Christmas cards I used the following papers: Kaiser Craft the "Dear Santa Collection"; Maja Design "Juletid"; Panduro "Country Christmas" line; Vibeke Spigseth "Snowdot" and of course some ordinary Bazill

On card nr 2 I tried to emboss the upper corner. The ornament stamp is from Panduro. With som embossing powder from Tim Holtz and my heatgun I think I achieve just what I was looking for.
The snowcrystal border is made with the Snowflake Border from EK. Nice huh...?

Stamps used on these cards: Marianne Design "Elines Vintage Christmas; Hänglar och Stänglar the cute girls and the berries; Norsk Stempelblad made the beautifull text stamps used inside the cards

On card nr 3 you can see the same ornament stamp as used on card nr 2 only here I used ordinary distress inkt.
The large flower comes from Petaloo and is called "Mulberry street". It comes in different colors and these white ones can be painted if you like or keep them simple nice and white . How nice is that!

And finaly, I´ll show you some close ups...

Thank you for dropping by and have a great weekend!!
